How Continuous Monitoring Works

Understand how CloudAnzen monitors your controls and detects compliance drift.

How Continuous Monitoring Works

CloudAnzen continuously monitors your connected systems to detect compliance drift before it becomes a problem.

The Monitoring Loop

  • Sync — CloudAnzen syncs with your integrations on a regular schedule.
  • Evaluate — Each synced data point is evaluated against control criteria.
  • Status update — Controls are marked as passing, failing, or needs review.
  • Alert — If a control status changes, relevant team members are notified.
  • What Gets Monitored

    • Infrastructure configuration — Cloud provider settings, network rules, encryption.
    • Access controls — User permissions, MFA status, inactive accounts.
    • Security tools — Antivirus, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners.
    • Operational processes — Backup schedules, patch management, incident response.
    • Code security — Branch protection, code reviews, secret scanning.
