Connecting Your First Integration

Step-by-step guide to connecting your cloud provider or SaaS tool to CloudAnzen.

Connecting Your First Integration

Integrations are the foundation of automated evidence collection in CloudAnzen. Connect your tools to start gathering compliance evidence automatically.

How to Connect

  • Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
  • Browse or search for the service you want to connect.
  • Click Connect on the integration card.
  • Follow the authorization flow (OAuth, API key, or service account).
  • Once connected, CloudAnzen begins syncing data immediately.
  • Connection Methods

Different integrations use different connection methods:

    • OAuth — One-click authorization (e.g., Google Workspace, GitHub, Slack).
    • API Key — Enter an API key generated from the service's admin console.
    • Service Account — Upload a service account key file (e.g., GCP, AWS IAM role).
    • Webhook — Configure a webhook URL in the external service.

    What Happens After Connecting

    Once connected, CloudAnzen:

  • Performs an initial sync to pull current configuration data.
  • Maps discovered resources to relevant controls.
  • Begins continuous monitoring based on sync intervals.
  • Generates evidence artifacts automatically.
