Using Audit Rooms

Audit rooms provide a secure, organized space for sharing evidence with your auditors.

  • Click Create Audit Room.
  • Configure the room:
  • - Name — e.g., "SOC 2 Type II — 2025" - Framework — Select the framework being audited. - Audit period — Start and end dates. - Auditor access — Invite your auditor via email.
  • Click Create.
  • What Auditors See

Auditors get a read-only view of:

    • All controls mapped to the framework
    • Evidence linked to each control
    • Policy documents
    • Risk register entries
    • Organizational information

    Managing Audit Rooms

    • Add evidence — Link additional evidence to controls within the room.
    • Add comments — Communicate with your auditor via threaded comments on any control.
    • Track progress — See which controls the auditor has reviewed.
    • Export — Download the entire audit room as a ZIP file for offline review.

    Audit Room Security

    • Auditor access is time-limited to the audit period.
    • All access is logged with a full audit trail.
    • Files are encrypted at rest and in transit.
    • You can revoke auditor access at any time.
